Mike Edwards
Founder, CEO & Digital Marketing Strategist
My name is Mike Edwards, and I am the founder of Digital Law Marketing, Inc. I’ve been working in law marketing since 1998 – first as a sales representative for Thomson Reuters, and later with Lexis Nexis / Martindale-Hubbell, before founding and opening Digital Law Marketing, Inc, where I have put together one of the strongest teams in the industry. In just a few short years, we have evolved into a multi-million dollar company.
I’m an award-winning online marketing strategist who has partnered with professionals in corporate, government, legal, and accounting industries. Known as an overachiever, I have proven skills in analyzing and improving marketing strategies. I’m proud of my distinguished track record, accentuated by 16 consecutive years as a Circle of Excellence and President’s Club winner (for two different companies), as well as myriad other sales awards. My job is to parlay my comprehensive knowledge of internet technology and web-based software with powerful web designs and proactive social media campaigns that deliver highly effective online marketing solutions that drive results.

A little background on me
At heart, I’m a family man. I’ve been married to my lovely wife Carol for 27 years, and we spend most of our free time vacationing or enjoying our home, where our Jack Russell terrier rules the roost. While I live in Tennessee now, I grew up in Leitchfield, Kentucky and earned my degrees at Western Kentucky University, so I could remain close to my home. I still go back home a good deal to hunt turkey and white tail deer with my friends in the beautiful back woods of Grayson and Butler counties.
Why I do what I do
First and foremost, I love my job – truly, truly love it. I’ve loved helping professionals grow their businesses over the last 15 years. As the owner of the Summit Preparatory Academy in Tennessee, and a former owner of several Papa John’s pizza franchises, I understand firsthand how exciting it can be to see your business flourish. No matter what endeavors I pursue, I know that it’s the people I work with who enrich my work and my life. I value the work and the contributions of my colleagues almost as much as I value their friendship, and that guiding principle – that all working relationships can be, and should be, rooted in something more – has allowed me to take my clients to new heights each and every day.
But what I love most of all is being able to give back to the people who have helped me along the way. I feel that is our responsibility to treat people with respect and do what is right, and every business I run is built on that model. I work hard each and every day, and my drive to do better has allowed me to create incredible opportunities in my community and in others’.
Charity begins at home
I am a founding member and current Chairman of Christmas for the Children, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Christmas festivities to underprivileged children in Middle Tennessee. I’m both proud of and humbled by the more than 3,000 volunteers who contribute to my organization, which has helped more than 4,200 children over the last 20 years feel the joy of having Christmas presents to open during this very special time of the year.
You don’t have to take my word for it
My team and I have helped countless clients over the years, and we’re proud of the work we’ve done. But you don’t have to take my word alone for it:
“While some digital marketing firms are still playing checkers, Mike Edwards and his team are playing chess. Their platform-driven and results-oriented approach targets a haystack full of needles instead of a needle in a haystack. Among other things about me, Mike knows my favorite teams, my kids names/ages and where my wife and I sneak off to for a quiet dinner when we catch a babysitter. He cares about my law business because he first cared about me. The biggest risk you have is saying "no" to Mike because you will never know the market share you could have had.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Mike Edwards and his team. For several years, I managed my firm’s online presence with a piecemeal combination of web design companies, blog writers, and chat services that were unreliable and constantly changing. Even worse, I tried to manage our social media presence solely in-house. This resulted in a poor and inconsistent product, a stagnant online presence, and a lot of wasted time and unwanted stress for me. When Digital Law Marketing, Inc. (“DLM”) took over, this all changed. I have seen steady and impressive growth since DLM began and better yet, I no longer have to worry about my firm’s online performance. One of the best things about DLM is their personal touch. It sounds cliché but Mike and his team make you feel like you are their only client. If I want to publicize a good verdict, post something about a recent event, or make a quick change to our website, DLM’s response time is incredible---usually within an hour or two. Last but not least, Mike is loyal. I know that I am the only personal injury firm he will work with in my area and that we both desire to dominate my market.”

At the end of the day, the things that matter to you are the things that matter to me and to my team. We take as much pride in your business as we do in our own, because we know that together we’ll be stronger and better than we would apart.
